For an early arrival
Ask whether you can store bags, use facilities or purchase early check-in. Do not assume a transfer booking includes room access. If you want a stop before reaching the property, request it ahead and confirm the revised itinerary and price.
For a late departure
Arrange luggage storage or late checkout with the hotel and keep the airport pickup time clear. Have your bags ready at the agreed entrance. A later flight still needs enough time for the road journey and the airline’s departure procedures.
