Start with two exact destinations
Write down each property’s full reservation name and address. For an apartment or villa, add the building or unit and the vehicle entrance supplied by the host. The hotel brand isn’t enough. Two resorts from the same chain can be separate destinations, while nearby buildings may use different access roads. Resolve conflicting names or map pins before requesting the route.
Assign people and luggage to each stop. “Six passengers, two hotels” is a starting point; “four passengers with four cases at Hotel A, then two passengers with two cases at Hotel B” is something the team can actually plan. Confirm the exact properties rather than choosing a destination zone on a guess.
Check the full hotel names →Compare the journey for the people getting off last
One vehicle means your group can leave the airport together. It also means the travelers going to the second hotel remain in the vehicle during the first drop-off. Ask the team to assess the actual route and explain the proposed stop order. Don’t choose it from hotel prices, a straight-line map distance or whose reservation was made first.
The situations below are points to discuss, not guarantees that particular hotels can be combined. There isn’t a universal distance or passenger count that makes one option better. Compare the route your group would actually take and the amount of coordination everyone accepts.
| Your situation | What to compare |
|---|---|
| Everyone accepts the proposed route and order | One confirmed two-stop ride versus the total for separate rides |
| Some travelers want a direct journey | Their own vehicle versus staying aboard for another stop |
| An entrance or access arrangement is unresolved | Whether it can be clarified before confirming the combined ride |
| The group has substantial luggage or equipment | A suitable combined vehicle arrangement versus separate vehicles |
Get a quote for the complete route
Request two alternatives: one airport departure serving both named properties, and separate rides with passengers and bags assigned to each. For the combined option, confirm hotel order, vehicle arrangement, total and any conditions affecting stops or waiting. For separate rides, compare the total for all vehicles, not one vehicle’s price against the whole combined booking.
PUJ RIDE’s published airport prices are per vehicle, one way, with taxes included. A single-destination estimate doesn’t confirm a two-hotel itinerary. Don’t assume the combined price is the fare for the farther hotel or the sum of two ordinary airport fares. Ask for the actual route quote. If friends divide the cost, settle that between yourselves and confirm the provider’s payment arrangement: your own split does not establish separate billing or collection.
Check current vehicle prices →Count the whole load before choosing the vehicle
The vehicle leaving PUJ needs room for everyone and everything, even though some passengers get off earlier. List large cases, cabin bags, strollers, golf equipment and mobility items. Request child seats with children’s ages and weights, and confirm suitability, availability and charges for the relevant journeys. Passenger capacity alone doesn’t establish that the luggage fits.
Here is an illustrative example: four friends stay at Hotel A, while another adult and a child stay at Hotel B. Together they have six large cases, cabin bags and a requested child seat. The combined option must be assessed for that full load at the airport. Separate rides need their own lists. This example is not a vehicle recommendation or a price; it shows why destinations and luggage belong in the same request.
Prepare the group and luggage list →Make the first hotel stop a clear handoff
Confirm the reception or vehicle entrance for each property. If a gated residence needs guest or vehicle authorization, arrange it with the accommodation. Know who gets out at the first stop and which bags belong to them. Keep each party’s travel documents and essentials with that party so nobody continues with someone else’s important belongings.
If you want the driver to wait during check-in, help with a separate errand or make another stop, ask whether that can be included and have it confirmed. Don’t leave it as an unspoken expectation. The remaining passengers should not assume they can enter the first hotel, use its facilities or wait inside while friends check in. Visitor access is a question for that property.
Plan the airport return as a new route
A two-hotel arrival doesn’t automatically establish a two-hotel return. Record each party’s departure date and flight. If everyone flies together, ask whether collection from both properties can be arranged, then confirm both pickup times and entrances. The first pickup starts a longer itinerary than a direct ride from that hotel.
Work from the airline’s airport arrival requirements and the complete collection route. Don’t copy a single-hotel driving estimate or assume the arrival order should simply be reversed. Different flights or dates may need separate journeys. Tell the team if anyone changes accommodation: the return must use the actual pickup address.
Plan the hotel return pickups →Send one request with both options
You can write: “We arrive together at PUJ on [flight], [local arrival date]. Hotel A: [full name, address, confirmed entrance], [passengers], [luggage]. Hotel B: [same details]. Child seats or other requirements: [details]. Please compare one private ride serving both hotels with separate rides. Confirm availability, stop order, vehicle arrangement, complete price and what the hotel stops cover. Return journeys: [each party’s flight, date and pickup address].”
Choose one lead contact and share the confirmed plan with both parties. Everyone should know the destinations and which option was booked. Send the full details to PUJ RIDE’s group-transfer team and ask for the complete alternatives before deciding whether staying together for the drive is worth the extra stop.
Ask about group transfers →Before confirming the two-hotel plan
- Identify both properties and vehicle entrances.
- Assign passengers and luggage to each hotel.
- Compare complete combined and separate quotes.
- Confirm the stop order and what stops or waiting cover.
- Check vehicle fit, child seats and other requirements.
- Plan every return flight, address and pickup separately.
Two hotels. One clear decision.
Send both accommodation addresses, your flight, passengers and luggage. Ask PUJ RIDE to compare the available combined and separate options and confirm the complete route and total before you book.
