Where JOIA Bávaro sits and where we stop

JOIA Bávaro by Iberostar is the current name of the adults-only resort formerly called Iberostar Grand Bávaro. Iberostar lists its address as Carretera Arena Gorda, Playa Bávaro. For our booking system, this property uses the Bávaro transfer zone. An older reservation saying Iberostar Grand Bávaro refers to this same property; it is not a second hotel to select. Other Iberostar resorts in the area, including Dominicana, Punta Cana and Selection Bávaro, are separate destinations. Send JOIA Bávaro and the reservation holder's name so the reception can be confirmed. Our zone driving time is an estimate from PUJ, excluding immigration and baggage collection.

How the pickup works

1. 1Send your flight number, date and party size on WhatsApp — we confirm the price in writing.
2. 2We track the flight, so a delay or an early landing does not change anything.
3. 3Your driver waits in arrivals with a name sign, just past customs.
4. 4Travel directly to the hotel and reception confirmed in your booking.

Bigger groups and luggage

Up to six passengers ride in one Standard vehicle at $35. For 7–14 passengers we send a passenger van: +$20 on Standard, +$40 on VIP. Send the luggage count with the booking — golf bags, strollers and car seats are all fine, we just size the vehicle before the day instead of at the curb.
