# Plan the airport ride for your pet

PUJ RIDE travel guide

## Direct answer

Tell us about your pet before booking: species, size, carrier dimensions and the number of people and bags travelling. Pet transport needs explicit confirmation so the vehicle arrangement is suitable.

Prices are one-way, per vehicle, taxes included, 1–6 passengers. 7–14 passengers move to a van: Standard +20 / VIP +40 on local zones. Private only — no shared seats, no night surcharge, no prepayment to hold. Rate list updated September 2026.

## Check travel rules separately

Airline policies and country entry requirements are separate from a transfer booking. Consult your veterinarian and the relevant official animal-health authority early. For travel from the United States, start with https://www.aphis.usda.gov/pet-travel/us-to-another-country-export/pet-travel-us-dominican-republic

## Prepare the ground journey

Keep the carrier and any supplies accessible, and explain if the pet needs a particular handling arrangement. Do not assume a transfer confirmation replaces veterinary documents or airline approval. If the flight or arrival process changes, update your driver contact before leaving the terminal.
